"Are you two going to hold hands all day, or are you going to open the shop some time today?" Peridot demands, showing up at the shop shortly after Tamsin and Ed arrived. Ed always wanted Tamsin and Peridot to become friends but now that they are, he gets to squirm and be uncomfortable whenever they're together. Tamsin drops his hands immediately and opens the door for Peridot, the two of them going on about the latest games as they enter the shop together, leaving Ed behind.

As soon as she's sure Ed is busy and out of hearing range, Tamsin confides to Peridot that she's having an affair. "Even though I got engaged to him, I've never been positive that Ed was the one. Now there's Cyd, and I know Ed isn't 'the one', because I've got two that are pretty much equal."
Ed is getting his, Peridot thinks happily, loving poetic justice. For a moment she considers scheming on Tamsin the way she did with Uma, setting her up to be caught cheating, but decides to let nature take it's own course on this one. Eventually, Ed is going to get burned by Tamsin, and Peridot will get to point and laugh.

"I knew Cyd was going to be trouble the minute I hired him," Tamsin sighs, reliving the whole affair for Peridot's listening pleasure, "But I had no idea how fast I'd crack, I went home with him after his first day of work."
"What about Ed? Aren't you two living together? Didn't he see you leave work with Cyd?" Peridot demands details.
