Sage's wedding came as a huge surprise to all her siblings, even Risk hadn't been aware that she'd been dating anyone seriously since she and Heather split up. All but Meadow showed up for the small, hastily planned ceremony. Sage had wanted to snub Meadow, but invited her at Harmony's insistence. Though Harmony was a bit put out by how Meadow had been treating everyone lately, she told Sage that family was family, and it wouldn't be right to not invite Meadow to a wedding. Meadow responded to the invitation by saying that if Sage was low class enough to not only get pregnant by one of her own employees, but to actually marry him, she certainly wasn't going to give her approval by attending the wedding. Sage was furious with herself for listening to Harmony, and wished she had snubbed Meadow like she planned.

Sage didn't tell Julian about Meadow, and he'd been meeting so many of her family members in the whirl leading up to their wedding that he couldn't tell cousins from siblings and would never realize his wife's eldest sister failed to attend.

Xander was relieved that only one of the three relatives of the bride that he's dating showed up to the wedding, he knows they all like to play, but he's not sure how good they are about sharing with each other.

"You look great in pink, Pearl," he compliments her, surprised by her wardrobe choice.

"It would probably suit Skye better," Pearl laughs, "But Sage asked me to wear something 'nice'."

"Why didn't Skye come?" Xander asks, knowing that she lives just across the street from Sage's house. He already knew Quinn wouldn't be coming, he'd be babysitting his younger siblings while his parents attended the wedding.

"Her mother does what Meadow does," Pearl answers with a shrug, like that explains anything. Xander asks who Meadow is, and Pearl gives him a brief rundown, "She's my snobby aunt. She's snubbing Sage's wedding, and Skye's mother, Chris goes along with anything Meadow says, so she's not letting Skye come. That means it's just you and me," she adds with a sly smile, "Do you want to dance, or go make out, or something?"

Xander forgets to ask more about why the snobby aunt is snubbing the wedding, returns her smile and they sneak off up to his room to dance or make out or something. Pearl at least knows how much sharing goes on between them.
